Doug came from a large blended family much like the Brady Bunch, but with his dad Floyd Fowler's brood with Ronnie, Steve & Thomas and then his step-mom Babette Scott with Christine, Carlton & Cindy. They lived up hill from a small park with forests & ponds behind it, along with old oilfields, railroads & cattle. Doug & his younger brothers were adventurous, spending time outdoors exploring & riding hi-powered dirt-bikes. He also had a love for Metal music & learned to play guitar before he died in the early 1990s.
