I served 1st battalion 2nd marines as a grunt cross-trained in arabic & NBC. I served 2 tours in Iraq in An Nasiriyah, Al Kut, Iskandiriyah and both Babil & Anbar provinces. I was wounded during my second tour and spent my last year in and out of National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda Maryland.
