About Me	I worked at Julian's back in 1978 while I was pregnant with my son. I married John McGovern in 1977. We were married for about 5 years. I helped him get through Embry Riddle University for 4 years. I was able to pin his 2nd Lt. bars on with his mom. He wanted his freedom after he graduated and there I was to raise my son by myself. Fun deal. Well, I worked at Publix for 26 years in the Deli. as a hostess with the mostess. It was definately hard work. I had torn both my Rotater Cuffs on my shoulders, had surgeries, and then tore my mediscus on my knee, which meant another surgery. I had a car accident back in 2003 which did me in. I retired in October 2005. I have been recovering since. I have made many trips to Ohio to pick my granddaughter up for my son. That was before the gas prices were so high. We now fly her here if she wants to come. I went to a Travel Industry School called Southeastern Academy for homestudy and residential training, but, by the time I was graduated I was too young to get a job. I started working at Publix. I love to give parties for the ones I love. I love my garden, Roses and Gardenias are my favorites. My Begonias bloom almost all the time. I married a GREAT guy, his name is Mark Strama. He graduated Spruce Creek in 1977. We met in Publix at Bellair Plaza just as fellow workers. I was transferred later to The Trails shopping center in Ormond, and it just happened Mark saw me working there. He called me at work and asked me for my phone number and there we started to really get to know each other and my son included. He is a gentleman. It took me 11 years after my first marriage to really find the right person. He is really good to us. We have done some traveling. You can't go very far when you have animals. I try to make the best of my life. KEEP MOTIVATED!!! I still love the group CHICAGO. I have since I was 9 years old. I went to 4 concerts this year. The guys are ...(read more)
