| About | Don was my brother. He died of a bilateral pulmonary embolism after having shoulder surgery in 2002. Don left behind his wife, Linda, with whom he lived in Ocala. He was a successful businessman and part owner (along with our father) of Marion Metal Works. He was an Eagle Scout and an animal lover, once owning a cattle brokerage, Marion Land and Cattle Company. Don was a great man and is missed greatly. |

He was a good friend, and I know he was trying to talk to me at our 20-year reunion but wasn't sure what to say. Shortly after that reunion he died. I found out from several others he what he wanted to tell me. I know the whole story now, my friend, and I will finish that mission for you. Then I will toast your memory.
