About	I read an article about Kelly Slater, a champion surfer. It mentioned his Dad was Steve. I had not seen Steve since the early 60's. When I read Kelly's book, Pipe Dreams, I found out Steve had died of throat cancer in 2002.

Steve was SHS class of '58. He passed April 25, 2002.
