James Edward "Jim" Moskola, 72, of Kenneth City, Florida, joined his loved ones in Heaven on April 9, 2025 after a brief illness.
Jim was born in Clifton, New Jersey and lived in Central Florida for most of his life. He graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1971, and UCF with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. Jim spent his career as a clinical laboratory supervisor and medical technologist in several hospitals in Volusia County.
Jim loved horticulture, music, and the arts. He was a creator of beautiful backyard gardens. He spent his later years helping others, singing, playing his beloved recorder, and telling stories about his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sophie (Guti) Moskola and John Moskola. Surviving are his four children, Jason (Katherine) Moseman, Grace (Ella) Friedman, Bruno (Laura) Moskola, and Alice (Kyle) O'Toole; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Elaine Moskola Xynidis and Jane Moskola.
Arrangements were made per his wishes through United Tissue Network to benefit medical advancements and research. Services will not be held.
Donations can be made in honor of Jim's memory to the Port Orange Art Haus (arthaus.org) or a charity of your choice.
