Enlisted in the USMC in 1960. Spent the first 3 years with the Infantry and guard duty. Went into Electronics in 1963, and stayed with that until I retired. Taught Electronics school in the USMC for two tours. Worked in RADAR, early on, but moved on to general support electronics later. Commanded Electronics Maintenance Company in Okinawa Japan 1977-1979. Worked in research, development and acquisition of electronic systems during my last years of active service.

Started like everyone else in Boot Camp in 1964 " A " school for Electricians Mate joined on board USS Keppler DD 765 with my brother Ed until we were deployed to Vietnam, 1966-67 took a 10 year break then joined the Navy reserves in 1977 Surprise we were deployed to Desert Shield-Desert Storm , retired in 1992.
