Class of 55 & 56 mini reunion

Due to the interest shown at the last '55 Class Reunion, we have made tentative
reservations at Hawks Nest State Park for the weekend beginning October 5, 2012.
A banquet is proposed for Saturday evening October 6th. Price for a steak dinner is quoted at $26 per person, including tax and tip. The banquet room overlooks the beautiful New River Gorge.

Twenty-three rooms are reserved, ten of which have views of the New River canyon gorge. Room prices are discounted to $85 for canyon views and $78 for forest views, including tax and comnplimentary breakfast. All rooms are non- smokiing. Prices are the same for single or double. Fall colors should be at their peak.

Activities on the grounds or nearby include Gondola rides to the river, speed boat rides, horseback riding (a $10 off coupon is furnished to all guests of the lodge), hiking trails to the ribver (with a Gondola ride back up if desired), Mystery Hole tourist attraction, the famous New River Gorge Bridge, Raft trips, zip lines, etc. Those from out-of-state may not know that a 10,600 acre Boy Scout Reserve is being developed in parts of Fayette and Raleigh counties and will host the World Scout Jambotee in 2019.

If you are interested in attending this reunion, we must have firmed up our intentions by early May of this year, as it is a popular destination in the Fall.
