Sandy Parise
Class of 1990
Passed Sep 13, 1989
Sandy Parise, Marie Gilbert, and Edward Faircloth had been consuming cocaine for a three-day period between September 11 and 13, 1989. 33 year old Faircloth was the one injecting everyone and gave Sandy a little too much. Sandy's level was 2.86 milligrams, lethal level is 1.0 milligrams.

I still visit Sandy at Resurrection Cemetery her in Romeoville. I have brought my children to let them know the dangers of drugs. I still have all the newspaper articles and have let them read them. Maybe me doing this is saving their lives. It has been almost 21 years since she has passed and I still think about her. I have many fond memories that will last me a lifetime, but I still miss her. My favorite is when she would come over to my house. I don't know why, but my dad would call her Wendy! She got a kick out of that and always went with it. I often think of where she would be right now if she was still here.

Edward Faircloth of course went to prison. He appealed a few times but was denied. Faircloth died in 2006 of a heart attack while in Dixon Correctional Center.

There are lots of us that miss you, Sandy. Rest in peace. Hopefully we will meet again... someday.
Shannon Williams
Shannon Williams
Class of 1971
Passed Jul 19, 2019
Shannon, was a military wife who supported her husband faithfully during his tour in Iraq and all his years of service. She was the mother of a daughter and son. She lived life on her terms, without apology. There were no strangers in her life, only people she hadn't talked to yet. She had the gift of gab and never shied away from a challenge. She was bold and assertive, and had a smile that lit her cherub face. She loved and was loved by her husband in ways you only read about in books or see in movies. <3
Stephen L. Klimek
Stephen L. Klimek
Class of 1985
Passed Feb 18, 2005
Steve passed away leaving 3 great kids and a living wife behind. He was a great man who loved his family and he was my best friend. On Tuesday March 22, 2016 he wasn't here for the birth of our first grandchild Jase L. Klimek. The details of his death don't matter, what does matter is that he isn't here anymore and will continue to be missed by those of us who knew and loved him...I see him everyday in our youngest child Shawn. It's almost like he is still here
