I served from July, 1965 to July, 1970. I had duty assignments on three ships:
U.S.S. Diachenko APD-123 [Oct. 1965 to May 1966]
U.S.S. Isbell DD-869 [Dec 1966 to Feb 1969]
U.S.S. Blue DD-744 [Feb 1969 to June 1970]
While on the three ships, I made several cruises to Vietnam and was part of various operations there.

Kevin Nasky

Navy, 10 Years
I first served in the Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer from 1989 to 1995 when I was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. After college and upon matriculation to medical school I accepted a Navy Scholarship and was commissioned an Ensign in the US Navy. After graduation in 2005 I was advanced to Lieutenant and began serving on active duty as a resident at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth Virginia, where I will graduate in July 2009. My tentative orders are to remain at NMC Portsmouth as a Staff Psychiatrist, but expect to deploy later this year.

I was transferred to VF141, a fighter squadron and made the first WestPac cruise onboard the USS Constellation. I was discharged in 1966. In 1979 I enlisted in the Coast Guard Reserve. I served until 1995 and retired as a Lieutenant Commander.
