| About Me | After graduating, I taught and coached in Tennessee public schools (Hillsboro HS in Nashville and Oak Ridge HS, Oak Ridge) for 31 years. Upon retiring from teaching, I went on staff with Young Life, a non-denominational outreach to teenagers and with Barbara, my wife, moved to Madrid, Spain, to start the organization there. I served as Area Director for Madrid for 8 years and Regional Director for Western Europe for 7 years before retiring for a second time in 2019. I am retired but volunteer with Young Life at Glencliff HS in Nashville, tutoring and translating for students and teachers, and volunteer at church teaching and helping with missions.
