About Me | I've been studying performing arts since the age of 13.I first got into acting at my church.at Smithfield. Church of Christ when I performed. Puppet shows I played different puppets both hand-held and string,or Youth pastor Lloyd &Pamela. Lassie taught me hpow how to remember lines,from the Biblical plays they wrote,Lloyd also taught me to sing old time trios. Gospel Music Acapella style as Baritone& And bass. I was the youngest member. Of the group called the Bible boys.I also learned to. Act Reforming biblical skits. I was so good that we traveled on mission trips And went to various churches in the community. Starting with North Richland Hills Texas Traveling to Missouri. Montana. South Dakota. Utah. California. Arkansas. Louisiana. Tennessee. Mississippi. Alabama. Georgia. And Florida. And smaller towns. In the communities of the states. As I grew older. I went to college at Lubbock Christian University. I sang in the choir For meistersingers. We travel to Pepperdine University where I sing a solo para time there. Everyone in my family was in the musical business. My cousin is Jimmy Webb. Herodes many many songs from any celebrities I was taught to write music. I mhad another cousin Kevin Turnage. But his name is pronounced Kevin McKamie. I went on the road with Kevin. To Nashville Tennessee . in Grapevine Texas. at the grapevine. Port For Kevin's band I was influenced by Glen Campbell. And Kenny Rogers. And Barbara Mandrell. The Mandrell sisters Me and Kevin Turnage. Were offered to be back up singers for Louise Mandrell. We traveled in Nashville Tennessee I sang bass. And Kevin sang baritone. We also travel tooVegas. To sing backup for the Louise Mandrell Band. I was Only 19 years of age. My career in did when I got in trouble with alcohol. I was living in Waterloo Alabama during this time. And traveling with the sisters from show to show. In 1987.I got in trouble witkoh my Uncle Jim for drinking beer. I was asked to go back home to Tecas by the manager of Louise Mandrell. my cousin was drinking heavily to back them we were both fired. but for a good thing. so we could both get recovery. and I could go to college. the people in Nashville told me when I got out of college for me to come back. but I never did. I went back to Lubbock Christian University. my grades were declining. as soon as I started college again. I found myself becoming depressed. and I did not know why. so I started drinking more and more. because when I drank. drinking gave me courage.to ask girls out on dates. I didn't start dating until I was 20 years old. that's when I started drinking more. it gave me the courage to talk to girls. I met a girl named Judy Johnson , she was 19. and I was 20. I got Judy drunk. and it being a Christian college, I got kicked out of college for two semesters. I was a failure so I thought. my fame to stardom. didn't work out. because of my drinking. and my friend is being a college student. didn't work out because of my drinking. I was afraid to tell my parents. because I was there on a. music scholarship. so I join the United States Army. and didn't tell my parents that I got thrown out of school for drinking. I told my mom and dad that I was joining the army. when I got out after 4 years. I would go back to college with all the gioi money never going to give me. that didn't happen either I didn't go back to college. I spent 23 and a half months in the army. I became disabled with post traumatic stress disorder. and back and neck problems. but I didn't get a medical discharge for that. I got a chapter 9 alcohol rehabilitated failure. Under. Hornorable conditions, basically it was better than a general discharge. and was classified up on my release as an honorable discharge. I stayed in Germany.and met a girl that was a nurse, she found out that I could sing real good. I could dance an act and remember lines, and I could speak German. her father owned a business. and he was real rich. he always aired commercials for his business on television. and I started being the lead role for his commercials advertising is business for what he did he was in the boxing industry. you made cardboard boxes I was always running specials on his boxes. that's how I got into doing commercials. I got a job at McDonald's Deutschland. where I was a cook. the corporate office found out that I could act and do commercials and speak German. so I started doing commercials on TV for McDonald's. That job landed me a gig with Pizza Hut. and that's how I got my visthen me and Michaela got married. I got her pregnantand I started shooting more commercials from McDonald's and Pizza Hut.That was in 1991 I started drinking heavily again. I got fired. for cussing out of CEO.Michaelmas dad hired me to drive a truck working out of his warehouse. 1992 of Dec.I got rehired back at corporate but this time doing training videos. notepad a little bit more moneythan me actually shooting commercial s, and a 1993 my wife and son were killed by drunk driver. at this time I had about three weeks clean and sober. but I wasn't trying to stay sober either. I just learned how not to mix business with pleasure. but on that day I quit drinking for good. I was very depressed. and I couldn't do anything I couldn't work for nothing. so I moved back to United States of America.
