It has finally arrived. 2017, 30 years from the day we said goodbye to the school we all loved. The school that built memories and friendships to last a lifetime. This year we decided to have it at Cooper's BBQ in the Stockyards. The event will cost $40 per person and that includes catered 3 meat plate with sides and drink (Tea). There will be music set up jamming all the 80's hits that we grew up with. So, come on out and share some memories with friends and have a great time. We are currently working on a way to pay online for the event, so stay tuned for that as well.
RHS 30 year reunion Details and FAQS
•When, Where, and What time is the Reunion?
May 6th, Where: Cooper’s BBQ (301 Stockyards Blvd, Fort Worth) Time: 5-9:30 PM
•How much is each ticket?
Each ticket will be $40.00 per person (mailed check or on Venmo) Note: $41.20 if paying with credit on Venmo (debit, EBT is Free)
Tickets are Non-refundable because the price includes food, third party services, room fees, 30th reunion bank account fees, and taxes. All of these are non-refundable on the back end.
•How do we pay for our ticket and is there a deadline?
We are using the Venmo app (powered by paypal) for all ticket sales. If you need to pay by check, you can mail to P.O. Box 852 Canton,Texas 75103. Please make check payable to Dennis Vogt with RHS 30th reunion ticket/s in the memo section. It must be post marked by April15th. Cash only at the door @ $40.00 per ticket, but you will have to order your food in Cooper’s regular counter service. For these, bring Dennis the receipt and we will reimburse the food cost above the $40.00, up to $20 per ticket. We have to do it this way because Cooper’s plans for the count that we give them for pre pays by the deadline, and you will get fed, which was included in the $40 (there is a food cut off at 9pm for their service line). Please come early.
Yes, the deadline is APRIL 15th 2017, because we have to finalize and pay by then to all parties with head counts.
•How do I use Venmo to pay?
Venmo is a free app available on app store and playstore. You can also go to www.venmo.com and do it that way. Once in, click sign up by email. Then fill out all the necessary details. Once confirmed by your email, sign back in and click on search in the app it will be the 3 stacked lines in top right. Search for Dennis Vogt. It will say Dennis Vogt reunion class account. Click on pay, pay with debit card or you can search your bank and transfer. In the notes section, please state for RHS 30th class reunion tickets. We will know by the amount you pay if it’s for two people or one. It will send a verification email on the payment. This is a very secure site and has been tested by the committee three times, as well as a few volunteers for accuracy. We are using this to track all ticket sales and align it with the bank account that was set up just for this event. Please bring your email print out with you and we will issue a wristband for the event. We get a confirmation email that we will have if you happen to misplace yours. If you are paying with a true credit account card, please add $1.20 to each ticket. This a credit card charge only, the Debit and bank transfers are free.
• Is alcohol provided by the reunion?
No, but Cooper’s does have a walk up cash bar outside of the event room that you can purchase beer or wine if you would like. Those drinks are allowed inside the event, but not provided by the 30th reunion committee.
•Who do I contact for help on anything if needed?
You can call Chris Fisher - 817-701-9129, Dennis Vogt - 214-755-0478. Or, you can PM Lori Kelsch Davis, Christi Overstreet Hudson, Madonna Seward, or Wendy Wade Ward through FB as well. Please reach out to us especially if you need confirmation on the correct account on Venmo.
