Angela (Fancher) Waller (aka Angela Reign)

Angela (Fancher) Waller (aka Angela Reign)

Class of 1996

Angela Reign, current Georgia Music Awards Nominee for Best Female Country Artist, graduated Reading High School as Angie Fancher. An active chorus and theatre performer at Reading, Angela took a 14 year sabbatical from her passions, first pursuing a career in teaching and then as a successful management consultant.

But in 2009, Angie found her way back to music and the big stage. "Discovered" at a private party by talented country guitarist Stan Roberts, Angie was persuaded to begin singing for a living. Angie (aka Angela Reign) hasn't looked back since and appears to be on a rocket-ride to the stars.

In the past 18 months, Angela has had 5 singles debut and play on mainstream country radio. The music video for her latest single, 'I Wanna Ride the Bull' was released in March and a line dance for the same song is being taught weekly at Wild Bill's in Atlanta ("America's largest dance hall"). The dance will be released to dance clubs and instructors across the country later this spring.

When not in the studio, Angela performs with her six-piece band across the southeast at some of country music's top venues. Look for her in a city near you soon, or check her out on the web at www.angelareign.com.

Angela's recent honors include her current nomination for Best Female Country Artist in Georgia and a nomination for 'Local Luminary of the Year' by Atlanta Country.

Angie Fancher is living her wildest dreams, dreams that began on a stage at Reading High.
