| About Me | Karen is an author and speaker. She has been involved in education both nationally and internationally for over 35 years. As an advocate for citizen involvement in government, she has served the community both as a volunteer and an elected city official. Karen and her husband, Dan, have been married 40 years and have 3 wonderful kids, a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law. She has four perfect grandchildren. Karen and Dan co-founded a ministry called Inspire International that provides hospitality for missionaries in their 125-year old Victorian home. Karen currently serves as Program Director for The Sending Project, a mission organization in Kansas City and is a Regional Speaker Trainer for Stonecroft Ministries. She is a Real Estate Agent with Kansas City Real Estate. She has been a music education professor at Calvary University in Kansas City and has written 3 books: SCARS Life Hurts....God Heals.
