| About Me | I was born in Cairo, IL. We moved to Pocatello in May 1951. After graduation in 1959, I entered the Marines with classmate Ronald Buffaloe. After the Marines I travelled and played music (Country - lead guitar). Returning to Pocatello I entered Idaho State University. I met and married Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Bates on the 11th of June 1966 in Pocatello. I played music around Pocatello and worked for Ford Music, but in 1968, we moved to Auburn, CA. Finishing Sacramento State University I became a certified school teacher and taught at Penryn Elementary School for a few years, then became a teacher of convicts at Folsom State Prison from which I eventuall retired. I also joined the Army Reserves (an Infantry Drill Sgt unit) and became a certified Drill Sgt moving on up to Command Sgt Major (E-9), from which I also eventuall retired.
