About Me	A generally kind, open minded soul - a person that believes that life is a continuous learning experience - in the words of Itzak Perlman, "...you either improve or you die..." As I get older I find myself more comfortable with who I am and what I am passionate about - my family, music, challenging myself physically, political equality. It has taken me many years to finally come to a point in my life where I can face my perception of myself in a more straightforward, kinder, accepting manner...there are good, bad, disappointing, honorable, embarrassing elements of my nature ....my awareness of each aspect of this "self" seems to rotate continually through my consciousness .... hiding, regretting, ignoring this has not made life more complete or satisfying...it has just created illusion...if we are fortunate in this life we find some means of accepting one's self.... in doing so the weight of one's past lightens and the future seems a bit more bright and exciting....I want to k...(read more)
