Known as “Richie” Grossman in high school, Ric passed away from complications of cancer on July 1, 2020. In 1996, Ric moved from Philadelphia to Northern Virginia to live with his domestic partner Sandy, where they spent 14 happy years together. Ric was a talented abstract artist and his paintings are included in the permanent collection of Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as other organizations.
