I don't have a ring but I found someone's childhood photos in a Habitat for Humanity resale store in Stillwater, OK. "Mark Nichols Taylor, Age 4, Pittsburgh, CA" was written on the back of one of the photos. One of the volunteers told me they were very recently donated from an estate sale. The collection consists of a baby photo of Mark, another of Mark at about age 4? and a third photo of him possibly around age 8 with a younger, blonde girl I'm assuming is his sister. All of the photos look as if they were taken in the 1950s to early 1960's. They are very nicely framed, indicating someone took great care with them. If I am correct about the era, Mark would be in his late 40s to 50s and would probably have graduated some time in the 1970s. I told the store staff I would see if I could locate him or his family so the photos could be returned to them. Anyone who might have information on Mark Nichols Taylor or his family can call Michelle Charles at 405)742-8084 or e-mail me at mcharles@thejournalok.com. I'm hoping that someone might remember the family even if they moved away before high school. Any clues would be very helpful.
