1990-1994, just in time for Operation Desert Storm (great!). Basic Training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX (the center of the universe!) and technical school at Shepard AFB, TX. 1990 -1992 at Ramstein AB, Germany, with 2 short tours of SWA (Republic of Turkey, Incirlik AB and Camp Silopi, and Kurdish Iraq, NATO Operation Provide Comfort). 1992 - 1994 at Hill AFB, Utah (near Ogden). Sort of like a foreign country!

Electircian on the USS Reaper MSO 467 for a short time in '71 between training and permanent assignment, then was Electrician on board the USS Enterprise CVA(N) 65 from Dec '71 to Jan '75 - at least until they found out I could do paperwork well, then I was taking care of technical manuals and blueprints for the ship in the Technical Library for the rest of my enlistment...
