Rita Spence (Johnson)
Class of 1989
Army, 18 Years
Lieutenant Colonel Spence is a 1989 Pascagoula Alumni and a 1995 graduate of Alcorn State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Services. She was commissioned as an Army officer and served in many capacities to include Bosnia, Hungary, Kuwait and numerous stateside assignments. She is currently stationed at Shaw Air Force Base as an Adjutant General (AG) officer. She earned a Masters of Arts in Health Science Management from Webster University in 2002. She is currently, pursuing a MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Webster.

I retired as Senior Chief Boatswain's Mate (E-8) with 22 years of service in 1993 while serving as the Executive Officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Pea Island (WPB-1347) homeport in Mayport, FL. New Homeport is West Mobile, AL.
