Debby KONVES Roelant

Class of 1971

So excited to share that I will be writing books soon. I have written the last few years but during the last year I spent much time settling my moms estate. So my writing got put away .
I have joined an organization called compel … and will be learning much as I embark on this endeavor.
Sadly My mom died last summer. It has been a tough season as I adjust to both parents being gone now. I bet many of you can relate.
During high school I was pretty much isolated due to being involved in a legalistic church community. Happily I have found a much healthier body of believers with whom I sojourn.
I was sad to have missed so many fun times with all of you during and after high school. If you would like to know the stories God has given me please email me.
Tom and I have two daughters sarah and Rachel. Sarah has three children. Before her last birthing we had all granddaughters we now have a 7 year old grandson too.
Rachel and Brian live in Ky and they have one daughter Johanna.
The last three years have been intense for me as I dealt with learning new information about family and the down world spiral of mom s cancer was an additional challenge. In 2018 my youngest brother died related to long term effects of alcoholism and drug addiction my brother Greg is well abd he is happily dad ABF grandpa to some very special people.
Tom is gardening as he has since retirement. He was raised on a farm and loves growing and harvesting. Summertime is filled with vegetables so fresh. He does farmers markets in Wooster on Thursday abs Saturdays. He is a wonderful husband. August 4 we will have been married 48 years. I am beyond grateful for Tom and our precious children and grandchildren. If anyone wishes to connect my email is noted. I would love to hear about your lives.
This year our oldest granddaughter graduated from Wooster High School. She had a rough last two years as she had covid herself and had to deal additionally with so many limitations. She competed in Speech abs Debate making it to nationals but she had to do it online because of restrictions. She is taking a gap year after which she intends to go to college for training in environmental engineering. Thankfully she was able to have actual graduation and the seniors had a prom experience. She did graduate as Salutatorian of her class of 254 members . We are very proud of her. You have heard more of the highlights of our lives. We do have a granddaughter who is autistic. If any of you can relate I would love to hear from you and your experiences. I am on Facebook you could contact me there.
