Drafted into Active Duty -- served as an Army Medical (Clinical) Specialist including time in Viet Nam with the Americal Division. Retired after playing clarinet for more than 30 years with the 59th Army Band (National Guard) at Sacramento CA.

Was a Jet Engine Mechanic (AD), ADJ when I first went in, J standing for Jet. Worked on P3 (Anti Submarine Warfare) & F14. First duty station, Naval Air Station Barbers Point HI. Got out went back in, in 1979, retired 1995. Spent most of my Career at NAS Mira Mar, San Diego, CA. 13 years, VF 101, 79-81, VP 69, NAS Whidbey Island, VF 301, Naval Air Reserve Center, then back to VF 301, 1984-1995. I was a TAR (Training Administrative Reserves), I was active just like regular Navy but didn't go to sea for 6 months.

Our Ogden High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Ogden High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Ogden are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
