Served the US ARMY Field Artillery during the Cold War in (85-87)West Germany's 7th USAFAD Special Weapons Unit, Part of the 59th Ordnance Brigade. PCS'ed to(87-89) Fort Lewis 1st Battalion, 11th Field Artillery Battery. The 1-11FA unit served as the test platform for Integrating Electronics Fire Control into the Artillery pieces. I worked with 8inch Self Propelled, 155mm Towed and Self Propelled Howitzers. The Motto of the Field Artillery is: LEAD, FOLLOW or GET OUT OF THE WAY which I stand by even today. The Speacial Weapons training was by far the most interesting and the real reason why I glow in the dark!
