The 10th annual Alumni Game is on Saturady, May 15, 2010. To celebrate Northgate Baseball's storied history we will once again host former players and their families at Ted Abbott Field for a BBQ, hitting contest, raffle, and game. Baseball Team History Project
Hello Alumni,
My son is on the Northgate JV baseball team and I have volunteered to help Coach Ben Campopiano with a Northgate Baseball History project. We are planning on framing the varsity team posters for every year from 1974 to present, and hanging them in the school. I have two requests. First, we are missing many of the past years' posters. If anyone has a poster in good condition that they are willing to donate or let us borrow to make a copy to honor and memorialize their team, please contact me (see below). We don't need all of them, so let me know which year you have and I'll check whether we need it. Second, I am requesting donations for this project as budget cuts have ruled out funds for these kinds of things, and may even end school sports (making this project even more pertinent)! The photography company is charging a lot to reprint the missing posters and won't give us the negatives to print ourselves, and there is the cost of the frames.

Baseball Team is NCS Finalist
The Northgate Baseball team (24-2 overall record) plays Piedmont at the Oakland Coliseum on Saturday, May 31, 2008 for the NCS Championship game.

Winner of Survivor!!
Yul Kwon was raised in Concord, California, he attended Northgate High in Walnut Creek, California, where he played varsity water polo and track and graduated valedictorian.
