Spent most of my time serving on submarines. My first boat was a WWII diesel boat USS Raton AGSS270 built in Manitowoc. Last sea tour was as Chief of the Boat on the USS Andrew Jackson SSBN 619 (Blue). Served on diesel boats, a fast attack and 4 Fleet Ballistic Missile submarines. Spent one yrar in Vietnam 69-70, was the commanding officer of River Patrol Boat for 6 months. Retired as an E-9 Master Chief Radioman.
