Dropped out of school joined the Marines in 1966-1968. Vietnam 67-68 was hit with 82 mm Chinese Mortar during test 68 lost my right leg and massive internal injuries spent 10 months in Navel Hospitals getting sowed back together.

In the 10 years I served this country I received 1 Meritorious, 2 Accomadations and 1 Achievment Medal, involved with Desert Shield and Desert Storm... I enjoyed my 10 years in the Air Force. I will do it again....

Did my residency in internal medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, followed by assignments at Yokota Air Base, Japan; RAF Lakenheath in the UK, returned to CA at Beale AFB, did some training at Johns Hopkins University, stationed at Langley AFB, VA; and currently located near Air Force One at Andrews AFB, MD. Have served through Desert Shield, Desert Storm, OIF, and OEF.
