| About Me | My interest in my fathers occupation of metal working lead me to go to school where he had become a teacher (the reason we moved). I earned awards for foundry and metal working projects in high school. Rather than go to college I went into business with my parents the summer of 1978. We manufactured concrete block, sold construction products and later added aggregate mining and processing. In addition I expanded the hobby machine shop into a business also. Changing times and burnout from decades of long hours with little pay lead to both businesses closing. The manufacturing plant burned in Sept 2018. I've worked for others since 2010.
