EXCUUUUSE MEEEEEE!
The WILD AND CRAZY CLASS OF ’80
is JUST GETTING STARTED!
You’re invited to celebrate our 35th Class Reunion on Friday evening September 25th !
Come on out and join your 1980 Classmates and support the Mona Shores Football Team in the school parade, tailgate party and homecoming football game followed by a dance in the cafeteria just like we did back in High School!
Break out your Lettermen Jackets, Band Instruments, Batons, Pom Poms and your fighting school spirit!
3:30 PM – Park your vehicle in the Mona Shores High School parking lot and walk to the Mona Shores Baptist Church at 3800 Lake Harbor Road in Norton Shores. (approx. 1.1 miles – a 20 minute walk)
4:00 PM – Meet at Mona Shores Baptist Church, 3800 Lake Harbor Road to participate in the parade! Walk, bike or if you have a vintage car we could showcase, let us know and we will register your vehicle for the parade! There is no parking available at the church parking lot as this will serve as the staging area for the parade.
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM Enjoy the tailgate party near Mona Shores High School football stadium. Catered by Texas Roadhouse. Bring $10 per person for a meal that includes pulled pork or BBQ chicken breast dinner. Both options will be served with fresh baked bread & homemade honey cinnamon butter, seasoned corn and loaded mash potatoes. A beverage will also be included.
7:00 PM – KICK OFF! Purchase your tickets ahead of time or at the ticket booth and join the Wild and Crazy Class of ’80 as we support our Alma Mater and cheer them to victory! We have a special section reserved exclusively for our class. Your family and friends are welcome to join us!
8:00 PM – Half Time – The Wild and Crazy Class of ’80 will be announced at half-time so be prepared to go WILD AND CRAZY and let everyone know we still have plenty of spirit! The Homecoming King and Queen for the Class of 2016 will also be crowned at halftime.
9:30 PM – 1:00 AM - Dance the night away with Digital Joe’s Entertainment which will be playing all the Classic Rock and Roll and Funk we know and love from when we were in high school. Break out your platform shoes and dance the night away! Bring some $$$ for food and drinks that will be available at the dance!
For those that are interested or unable to attend the Friday night event, there will be a Wild & Crazy Class of ’80 picnic on Saturday, September 26th at Ross Park from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Ross Park is on the South side of Mona Lake near the intersection of Randall Road and Wellesley Road. Bring your own food and drinks. Hang out with your Classmates and get caught up. Family members and friends are welcome!
