| About Me | Enlisted in the Air Force in 1961 after one year at Moline Community College. In 1963, the Air Force sent me to Arizona State to complete my degree. There I met and married my wife, Nadine Opu’ulani Chang. As I write this (Feb 2024), we are one month away from celebrating our 60th anniversary. For next 19 years I served as an instructor pilot, a year in Thailand flying combat, 3 years as an orbital analyst inside Cheyenne Mountain, an interceptor pilot, and finally as a staff officer in Florida. I retired in 1985 and we moved back to Colorado Springs where we still live today. We have visited most of the USA in our motor home and travelled to Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
