Mrs. Joy Leann Stocks Dickinson, age 54, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at her residence. Joy was a 1982 graduate of Moline High School in Moline, Illinois. Joy was a Doctors Assistant for Dr. William Lenahan for over 28 years. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Roger Dickinson, son, Aaron Dickinson (Whittney), granddaughter, Kendall Dickinson, and mother, Rachel Stocks, all of Winfield, sisters in law, Shirley Sparks of Moline, IL, Brenda Woodruff of Milan, IL, Sally Hines (Ron) of Milan, IL, Elke Clarke (Larry) of Milan, IL, cousins, Debbie Slater (Jack) and Carol Perez (John) both of Moline, IL, and her “best friend” pet Shelton, who continually provided emotional support for Joy. She is preceded in death by her father, William Stocks and an infant brother, Paul Ray Stocks. Funeral services for Mrs. Dickinson will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018 from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
