Volunteered in Thailand refugee camps for Vietnamese boat people and Cambodians fleeing their war-torn and devastated country after Pol Pot years. Lived and worked in Thailand and Cambodia for 10 years with the United Nations. Travelled for work and pleasure to Myanmar, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Maldives, India, Laos, Vietnam and amazingly, North Korea.
