I always knew I wanted to be a writer, but I took the long way around… Wife, mother, grandmother, and a multitude of jobs throughout the years:
Once upon a time, I worked for a surgeon. Then I co-owned a business while simultaneously raising purebred beef cattle and home schooling my kids. (I did write my *first novel during this time, but never finished editing) Later, I helped run a dairy farm, worked at a medical school bookstore, and an orthopedic clinic - all in three different states.
It took me a while…but I finally started writing full time about 6 years ago.
My first book, Ravenswynd Legends (a paranormal-romance) was published last spring (2013) and the final three in the series followed soon after. I also wrote and published my first stand-alone novel, River of Time (a time travel romance)
I’m a member of Romance Writers of America, the author of two blogs, currently working on another time-travel romance novel, editing that *first contemporary romance novel, and in my spare time (ha), I love to read and indulge in social networking.
