Randy McCoin
Class of 1974
Navy, 8 Years
Randy joined the Navy in 87' as a payroll clerk (DK) and served on the supply ship USS Santa Barbara for 4 years and the USS Deyo for 2 years as well as shore duty in Orlando at NTC Orlando Naval Training Center. He was injured in a General Quarters drill while getting ready for the first Gulf War while he was attached to the USS DEYO. He received a medical discharge in 1993 due to the injuries he received. His passion was the Navy and he truly misses serving his country. And he salutes all those who served and the ones still serving. And his prayers go out to the families of those who didnt return.
