Tickets – $100 per person will be on sale soon via our website which is under construction & available within the next 2 weeks. Please purchase your tickets as soon as you can so that we can meet our deposit requirements. Ticket number is limited. If there are any left, they will be available at the door for $115.
What is included with my ticket?
Entry to all events on 9/23/17 which includes the following:
• Registration from 6:00-7:30PM. Registration to be offered by current McHS Students. Pick up your name tag with your class year and picture from those good ol’ days.
• Dinner, Music and Dance from 7:30 to 11:30PM. Full plated, full course dinner, music and dancing provided by DJ with songs from our High School Days.
• Cash bar. If you forget to bring cash, there is an ATM in the lobby.
• Programs including Photo booth with props, memorial and trips down memory lane.
• Discounted valet parking.
Are there special room rates for reunion attendees?
The Marriott has graciously allowed us reduced room rates from their normal pricing. The cost for a room for this event is $149 per night plus taxes. The room rate is available to reunion attendees for up to 3 days prior to the event (9/20/17) through 3 days after the event (9/26/17).

What is the dress code?
Dress is casual, though shirt & shoes are required.
What else is planned for Saturday night?
Ads available to purchase in several sizes: business card/quarter page; half page & full page. Pricing to be determined based on printing costs.
We need a committee to take charge of program brochure and ads.
Name tags for attendees from other graduation classes.
We need a volunteer from each Class to make name tags with pictures and Class year.
Photo Booth w/ Props. We are planning to have McHS Students from Newspaper & Yearbook to assist with this. We would also like to make a video to send to any Alumni in the Armed Forces that are unable to make our event.
We need a committee of four to take charge of this as well.
Other Assistance Needed
• A volunteer who has the capability of providing a video and/or recurring Power Point feed to show on a screen during the event.
• A committee chair to organize gathering of photos of alumni, ads from the 70s early 80s, etc.
• A Memorial committee chair to gather names and photos as well as design and implement a tasteful display of our fellow Mustangs who we have lost.
• A committee to find advertisers, businesses, etc. who would like to donate items to give away to all ticket holders for the weekend (ex. Beach balls, Frisbees, Coolies, cups, etc.)
Is there anything else planned?
Yes! Friday evening 9/22/17, we are planning on meeting at the McHS Stadium for the McArthur vs. Nova Football Game. Game tickets can be purchased at the gate. This is also a chance for those that are unable to attend the Sat event to participate. Please come join us in the Alumni section in the stands as we cheer on the Mustangs again!
Friday afternoon/evening, for those staying as guests at the Marriott Hollywood Beach Resort, there will be an informal gathering around the pool.
Saturday morning 9/23/17, we are planning to gather on the beach. So grab your towel, cooler and sunscreen. Pull up a chair to chat and enjoy fellowship with the Mustang Alumni.

Mustang Wrestling Donation
Dear Alumni,
Some of you might know me. My name is Mike Zarra. I started teaching and coaching at McArthur in 1992. After the rich tradition the Mustang wrestling program had through the 1970’s through the early 90’s, McArthur was going to drop the program 4 years ago because of a lack of participation and no coach. The program was down to 5 wrestlers. Coach Murphy and I took over the program and we went from 5 wrestlers to finishing this past season with 50 wrestlers. We went from 5 wins our first year to 28 wins this past season with a 6th place finish in the County Tournament.
With the new wrestling format for the regular season matches, the season schedule consist mostly of dual meet tournaments. This becomes very costly. Also, we are desperately in need of new wrestling mats! We have the same mats that were in 1992 when I started here.
We really need your help to bring McArthur Wrestling back to be the power in Broward County and the state!
Simply stated, with the way schools are funded these days, it’s really up to the coaches to raise the funds needed to run their programs successfully!

Once you select the amount you would like to donate, the next screen will ask you to create a student profile. when the screen appears with first and last name with your student number type in John Doe, student number 0. This because your name and student number no longer exist in the school system. Now the next screen should have a box that says Select Student Profile, click it and scroll down to John Doe, click on John Doe then click Next. The next screen should ask for your donation information. Now submit your information and complete your donation. Anything you donate will be greatly appreciated.
