In Memory of

Danny and I met when his family moved into the Joseph H Brown School District. We became best friends immediately. He and I kept each other informed about sports results for Temple University and the Philadelphia Eagles. When he learned that I was to have quadruple bypass surgery, he texted me to say that I would easily get through it because we were Holmesburg tough. On the morning when I was to be discharged, his wife (Janet) called to tell me that he had died from a heart attack while sleeping. We were friends for about 70 years and I still miss him.
