35+ years in Civil Engineering. Attained the Rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). Went to the War zone twice after September 11. Took a crew to New Orleans after Katrina to help recover the Base at Belle Chase. Was awarded the "Goddard Medal" for 2002. Outstanding contributions to military engineering, including military troop construction, base maintenance, and contingency engineering.

I served 5 1/2 years ('78-'84) in the regular Army. I was a 98G2LRUKP - Russian (RU) & Korean (KP) linguist. I intercepted Russian radio transmissions. I switched to Korean after about 4 years since I was married to a Korean linguist at the time. I was discharged as a disabled vet. Then in 1992 I was able to join the Navy reserves and served 3 years.
