I flew Combat Rescue in the HH-3E Jolly Green Giant. I attended helicopter training at Ft. Rucker AL and was stationed at Elmendorf AFB, AK. I transitioned into Special Operations and flew the MC-130E Combat Talon in the 8th SOS at Hurlburt Field, FL and the 1st SOS at Clark AB, Philippines. I was the J5 at Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC), HI. I finished out my career in acquisition as a Deputy Program Manager over the MC-130H, a Program Director of all SOF Trainers (simulators), Chief of Systems Integration for the C-17 at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. My last assignment was at McChord AFB, WA where I was the Chief of the C-17 Integration Office (We changed the base from a C-141 to a C-17 base - modified and built new buildings for the C-17.) Stood up the first four C-17 squadrons and retired the C-141's. When I had many interesting flights in both helos and fixed wing in Special Operations. Sorry can't share those here.
