| About Me | BS degree from Colorado State University then attended graduate school at Oregon State University, received a MS degree, and spent 2 years as a research fellow in immunology at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Got married and was recruited into business by a company in New York called Metpath as a technical liason. Developed an interest in marketing and went to work in the clinical lab industry for Roche. Was recruited into the health insurance industry as a director of marketing for the Grand Valley Health Plan in Michigan and then to Capitol American as a regional vp. At this point I realized I didn't like the trappings of the corporate world so, after heated discussions with wife, granted her the position of ex-wife, resigned my position and began HCI Employee Benefits, an insurance brokerage providing benefits to small businesses. Shared joint custody of my two boys and wrote a novella, A Walk In The Park, inspired loosely by events to date. Currently married to Cindi who now ran the administrative part of the business, leaving me to just the sales and marketing aspects and we own homes both in Ohio and in The Bahamas where we spend winters and, thanks to the internet, run the business from there also. We have a 28ft sailboat, RumAweigh, which we sail in Lake Erie during the summer and I've become a certified scuba diver to fully enjoy the reefs while in the Bahamas.
