Navy, 12 Years
Served on 5 different ships 3 of which were destroyers. Made 6 deployments to the Persian Gulf, to include escort duty for reflagged Kuwaiti tankers flying US Flag. Two 6 month Med cruises also. Medical discharge after 12 years, bad knee. The Navy was not just a job, but an adventure! Ha!

Joined 175TFG Maryland Air National Guard in July 1967. I attended Aircraft Engine Maintenance School and returned for assignment as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Unit was activated in May 1968 due to the Pueblo Crisis and spent 6 months on Active Duty at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. In 1977 the Unit recieved tha A-10 Thunderbolt and I became the Asst Propulsion Supervisor until retirement in June 2003 after 35 years service.
