Moberg, Cindy Ann 62, of Rockford, passed away suddenly, but peacefully Feb. 16, 2017. Preceded in death by son, Daniel Bazoff; daughter Crissa Cichon; brother Allen Moberg; father Donald Moberg; step-father Maurice Durham. Survived by her mother Marcia Moberg-Durham; daughter Kellie (Spencer) Martinson; sister Linda (Rodney) Harren; son-in-law, Shannon Cichon; sister-in-law Marybeth Moberg; grandchildren: Zander, Julia & Laura Martinson, Belle, Grace, Abbie & Charlie Cichon & several nephews & a niece. Memorial Service will be held Wed., Feb 22 at Monticello Legion, 304 Elm Street, Monticello MN at 6:30 pm. Her Service will be CAYMAN ISLAND Style! Please come & have FUN while saying goodbye! Memorials preferred for the Cindy Moberg Funeral Fund.

My family moved to Bloomington when I was in the middle of 5th grade. Cindy lived 2 doors away. She and I became fast friends. We were in the same class at Creekside Elementary. I had to be in band. I was in choir at my Minneapolis school. I needed to pick an instrument. Cindy played the flute, so I chose the flute. We sat next to each other. She played well. I faked it. We had loads of fun together. I am grateful the friendship we shared back then.
