| About Me | In July of 1964, I married Thomas G. (Tom) Davis. He was in the Air Force at the time and we lived in Denver CO, Alamagordo NM, and Felixstowe England. We had our first child, a daughter, while we were in England. After coming back to the states, we landed in Commerce GA and had another child, our first son, there. We moved to Madison County in 1970, and three years later had another son. I began college when our youngest started kindergarten, finished a 4-yr. course of study in 3, and began working at Madison County Middle School, teaching Reading to 7th-graders. I went back for my masters and educational specialist degrees while teaching, and added gifted education to my certification later.
