45th Year Reunion Class of 1966 Jefferson High School August 8, 2011 Dear Classmate, Can you believe it’s been 45 Years!?!? If you are like me, your body feels like it, but not your brain! As usual, we have had lots of fun planning the reunion (especially the guys - they talk way more than the women do). We all hope everyone will make a real special effort to attend this year’s reunion. Please bring with you any memorabilia or pictures you have of any time spent in the Jefferson School System between 1954 to 1966. Again this year it will be an informal social on Saturday, October 22, 2011, from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Community Club House. There will be plenty of food, including ham, shrimp and cheese trays, chicken wings from mild to hot, and a variety of sandwiches, as well as chips and dips. Soft drinks will be provided; however we are asking that you “BYOB” and mixers. (I tried to get them to let me be a bartender.....that’s what I’ve always wanted to be when I grew up, but for some reason they wouldn’t let me! I guess I haven’t grown up yet.) The cost will be $25 per person. As usual, we are running late and need you to send your money with the below form (completely filled out) immediately. Bosie must have your info and money no later than September 10, 2011. Send to Bosie Griffith, 1217 Old Swimming Pool Road, Jefferson, GA 30549. In addition, we ask that you return the form even if you do not plan to attend the reunion; but we sure hope you will make every effort to attend. It will be worth it just to see how we have all aged! Our next planning committee meeting will be on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at the home of Walter Storey. Good luck in finding it! I’ve been there, and I still couldn’t find it without written instructions! Seriously, we would love to have you, and we sure do have a lot of fun. Plus, we could use the help.
