Numerous tours at Marine Corps Base 29 Palms, Ca., with tours in Hawaii and Okinawa Japan. Obtained the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and in 1976 appointed as a Warrant Officer. As a Chief Warrant Officer-2 I was selected to the Limited Duty Officer program and promoted to 1st Lieutenant and completed my 27 years in the Marine Corps on 1 Oct 1992 with the rank Major.

September, 1974, became an Air Traffic Control Radar Technician completed tours of duty in Germany, England, Spain, California, and Mississippi (which was a really good place to retire in August of 1990).
