this person is my closest friend, Wanda M.Anderson. She and her family became home to me ,my freshman year at Yates. We both went on to our chosen path in life,but were never far from eachother,she has mentored,and counciled many that have graced her chair/ or her shop,she is the owner of serenity hair studio. I say this all to point out she was a teen mother,with only one option , TO SUCCEED! and she did just that,her son is now a featured stylist to the stars and the icons, they work in the same location,and he now 21, a man of substance from the product of hope,faith, and desire for a better life than what the society said she could have.Wanda and Davion are my inspiration that no matter what the odds are you create your own future! They have truley blessed the world with their talent,fetaured in BLACK HAIR MAGAZINE annualy, and making images come to life daily
