River Rat Reunion
We made it to our 40th year reunion! Celebrate this landmark with your fellow river rats by attending a picnic at Gallop Park on July 20th starting at noon. The picnic lunch will be catered and beer will be provided, but feel free to bring other alcoholic drinks BYOB. Other informal activities occurring that weekend include: meeting at Frazier pub on Friday July 18th at 7:00 pm to catch up on old times, strolling through the Art Fair Saturday the 19th, starting at the corner of Washtenaw and University at 1:00 pm, listening to Huron High’s alumni band’s concert late afternoon Saturday (with reception afterwards), and attending a show at the Michigan Theater Saturday night .

On the next page, click on 1974 40th reunion and follow the directions on this sign up page. Consider filling out your bibliographies and posting pictures so your classmates can catch up on all you have been doing. There is also a Facebook page at (to be determined). Over 100 classmates have RSVP'd—make sure you and your friends don't miss this one.
Tickets are $70 per person or $130 for two.
Saturday night will be the main event at Lake Forest Golf Club on Ellsworth Rd. in Ann Arbor. Tickets will include heavy appetizers, DJ, photo booth, and a cash bar available to purchase drinks 7:30 - 11:30. If classmates wait until the night of the reunion to buy tickets, we will be accepting CASH only.
Friday night everyone will meet up at 9:00 pm.
Mash Bar - Its in the cellar of Blue Tractor BBQ & Brewery at 207 E Washington - Ann Arbor. (it can't be a private event and it's restaurant but should be a great place to meet up). Everyone will be responsible for their own food and drinks. Our classmate Steve Barnes is the General Manager at the Blue Tractor and he is creating a drink special for our class called Angels of '84. We will have a Banner for this event, look for the Banner! An acoustic musician from 6-9pm, then a Party Band 10pm - 2am.
Sunday Pot Luck Picnic at Gallup Park Livery Meeting Room and Deck 11:00 am - family and kids are welcome. We rented a shelter, got a alcohol permit and rented a grill. Bring a dish to pass, your main dish and what you would like to drink. We will not have anything except the shelter, and grill so bring the rest! Also local classmates are welcome to bring games.
