MAJOR DAVID J. (DJ) TANTHOREY

Major David J. Tanthorey is the Chief, Software Development Team, Computer Support Group. He is responsible for the development and implementation of software used in support of IFOR, KFOR, and SFOR forces within NATO's southern region. Major Tanthorey came to Allied Forces, Southern Europe from the Air Command and Staff College's Technology, Development and Intergration Division, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama, June 27, 2003. He has worked in his current position since his arrival.

He enlisted in the Air Force through Basic Training in 1979 and in 1984 earned a commission as a second lieutenant from Officer Training School. He has performed at squadron, group, wing, unified command, Department of Defense and NATO levels.
