Lets get together for a fun night of catching up. At Bottom's Up bar on Dixie Highway starting at 7:00pm. The volleyball court will be open and are first come first serve. DJ will begin at 9pm. Spouses are welcome to join. We can all hang out, talk and reminisce about the past 10 years since we have graduated from high school.
Following the activities Saturday night on Sunday, July 27th there will be a family meet up at Lakeside Park at Noon. Bring your kids to meet and play with one another. Those of you without kids are still welcome to come and socialize at the park.
For those of you coming from out of town in need of a hotel the Holiday Inn Express in Grand Blanc will have rooms for around $130 per night. If you buy a room they will offer free shuttle service to and from the bar. Shuttle service ends at 12:30am. It's true, folks. It's going to happen! My life has been ridiculously crazy this year, but I haven't forgotten about this event! A friend of mine (who planned his very own class reunion a few years ago) suggested that it be held the Saturday after Thanksgiving since many of you who live out of town will already be in town for the holiday. I thought that was a fantastic idea. I have not solidified any locations or vendors yet, but the survey I conducted a few months ago indicated that most of you wanted an event that was around $40 a person that included food but no drinks (there would be a cash bar). Tickets will be available in advance (via PayPal) or at the door. I'll be getting a little bit of money from HHS to help pay for the event, but not nearly as much as it's going to cost, so much of the upfront costs will be coming out of my pockets (which are not all that deep) - so buying your tickets in advance would help me tremendously. It'll also give me a more accurate head count. I'll be posting more information about how to purchase a ticket very soon. Also, I've got a few location ideas in mind, but if any of you have a really cool suggestion, please feel free to suggest!
