About Me | No one has the power to hurt you unless you give them that power!!! WORDS TO LIVE BY. I see so often everyone wants to mope around and blame everyone else for what is wrong in their life. I myself have been a cop rate of this, I believe at one point in life everyone has. It is so much easier to lay the turmoil’s in our life’s on someone else, then we can play the victim and claim there is nothing we can do. It is so much more difficult to take it upon ourselves because then we would need to admit that we have the power to change it but that we are so frightened we would rather stay in a bad situation because it is comfortable. All the while playing the wounded soul expecting someone to feel so awful for us that they rescue us from our self created hell. True someone may have done something horrendous to you but it is what you take out of the situation and who you become because of it that makes up the factors in your life. Live your life with no hate in your heart, no jealousy in your blood and no resentment in your thoughts and you will live a much longer healthier life! There is no one in this world that deserves your soul that is yours and yours alone. Share your heart, share your life but always keep your soul to your self. It is the most sacred possession we have. Every time that you let someone provoke you to hate you in essence are giving them a piece of your soul. We are all human and all make mistakes if someone has wronged you in my opinion you have two options; forgive them and keep them in your life or forgive them and exit them out. The forgiveness is not for them, but for yourself! To hold onto a grudge will most likely not matter in the least to the person who inflicted the pain on you but will plague you everyday you hold it within you! I am not saying lay down and be a floor mat be strong enough to say I forgive you but you are no longer a part of me and leave them in the past. Learn from the situation so you do not allow it to happen again and recognize the pain you felt and vow never to inflict that pain onto another! Do not give anyone the power to slow you down…even for a second! Surround yourself with positive influences…the rich get richer and the successful become more successful because they are surrounded by other rich and successful people! What ever your goal is find someone who has already achieved it and latch on. If you do exactly as they did you will be able to achieve your goal exactly as they have. YOU and YOU alone have the power to make today your best day yet or allow...(read more) |
