Served eight years in the U.S. Navy. My MOS was Military Police. Was a part of Operation Desert Storm. Served twelve years in the U.S. Army. My MOS was Miltary Police. Did one tour of duty in Afghanistan and one tour of duty in Iraq. Retired in August 2013. I am a firefighter/paramedic for Sandoval County Fire Department.

I entered active duty in 1974 after earning a law degree at Case Western Reserve Univ. and served as a judge advocate for 25 years, retiring in 1999 as a lieutenant colonel. Among other assignments, I served as Director of International Law for HQ USAFE, Chief of International Law for Central Command Air Force during Operation Desert Storm, and Deputy Department Head of the Law Department at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Our Highland High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Highland High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Albuquerque are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
